The XLR to 1/8" Adapter Cable has a female XLR connection at one end, with a 1/8" (3.5mm) male plug at the other end.
Our XLR to 1/8" Adapter Cable has a balancing transformer built in to the XLR connector end. The transformer keeps the XLR audio in a balanced state over the entire length of the XLR cable. Once the signal reaches the XLR audio adapter cable, the balancing transformer will convert the audio signal over to and unbalanced stereo output signal, which is what your video camera or DSLR camera requires for input.
NOTE: Most XLR to 1/8" adapter cables do NOT have a balancing transformer. This means other XLR adapter cables will cause the audio signal to be UN-Balanced over the entire cable run. This can ruin your audio, as an un-balance signal is susceptible to picking up electrical noise and RFI interference. That is why these other XLR adapter cables are so cheap.
The XLR to 1/8" Adapter Cable length is 12" and fully shielded and properly grounded.
