Bottom View of the Large Camera Mounting Screw.
The Camera Mounting Screw has the industry standard 1/4-20 screw thread that is used on Video Cameras,
Camcorders and DSLR Cameras.
The Camera Mounting Screw has many uses, such as, mounting a camera to different types of camera supports, mounting accessories to a DSLR rig system, as a replacement screw for a flash bracket or for you DIY projects.
We offer two different sizes of Camera Mounting Screws. The one on this page is the larger on. We have a smaller Camera Mount Screw that has the same 1/4-20 screw thread, but with a smaller knob and the height of the screw is a littler shorter.
The Camera Mounting Screw only has threads on part of the screw post. Once you screw in the Camera Mounting Screw and the threads clear the other side of the mounting hole, the Camera Mounting Screw will spin freely, but it won't fall all. This allows you to position the camera or accessory that you are mounting, in the direction you need it to be facing when screwing in the Camera Mounting Screw.
On some DSLR Skate Dollies, they come with a 1/4-20 mounting post that is locked into place. You can remove that mounting bolt and replace it with the Large Camera Mounting Screw so it is easier to mount and un-mount the camera and/or accessories from the DSLR Skate Dolly.
If you have a DSLR Camera Rig that has threaded holes for mounting accessories such and LED Video Lights, LCD Monitors, Shotgun Microphones or any other type of equipment, you can use the Large Camera Mounting Screw for easier mounting.
We also offer the Camera Mounting Screw in a smaller size, but still with the 1/4-20 screw thread size.
