The XLR2-HD™
features a built-in mic pre-amp and 48 volts phantom power on
both XLR channels.
The XLR2-HD™ gives you clean audio as well as control over the
signal levels and gain of 40dB to ensure the best possible sound
recording.
The XLR2-HD™ gives you a precision very low-noise,
low-distortion, mon-olithic instrumentation amplifier, that is
silent and ensure's you superb audio.
The XLR2-HD™ XLR adapter has features such as, two XLR
audio inputs, a single auxiliary 1/8" mini jacks, stereo-mono input
switch, dual audio level controls, ground switch, mic and line
level input switches, 40dB pre-amp and 48 volts phantom power.
The phantom power can be on one or both XLR channels. It
is user selectable.
There are red LEDs above each XLR jack to show you that you have
48 volt phantom power turned on for that jack. There is
also a green LED above the power switch to show you the power is
on.
There are no switches or controls on the right side of the unit,
so you can handhold the video camera easier and without the fear
of changing the input selection or audio level.
The XLR2-HD is built in an aluminum cases with shielded
transformers.
The XLR2HD™ is compact in size and fits neatly under the
camcorder, plus it can be mounted to any standard tripod.
The XLR2-HD requires one 9 volt battery and can power the XLR
adapter for 4 to 5 hours, depending what features are being used

Switch. This allows you to use only one mic and have it
record to both the right and left audio tracks. Also, when
the switch is in the mono position and there are two inputs
present, it will mix the two inputs together and send the
mixed output to both the right and left audio tracks.
- Locking XLR Connectors - This prevents the XLR cables from pulling out of the XLR audio adapter
- Independent Audio Level Controls - We used high grade audio level pots to allow you to control the input audio levels.
- Voltage Blocking Circuit to handle the "Plug-In Power" Mic Jacks found on Sony video cameras.
- The XLR audio adapter works with all video cameras that have a 1/8" mic jack.
- Mounts under your
camera, with no switches or controls on the right side so
you can hand hold the video camera.
