While the VSB3 was originally designed for the Sony PMW-EX3 in mind, customers have reported using VSB3 with the small handheld HD video cameras with excellent results.

Even though the EX3 is designed to be held against you shoulder, fatigue can quickly set in as you are have to hold the camera against you.

With the VSB3, the camera will rest on your shoulder and it provides better balancing of the EX3 especially when you add weights or equipment in the accessory box.

If you have ever shot with these newer handheld HD video cameras, then you know how hard it it to hold your hand steady. 

By using the VSB3, the camera is balance and resting on your shoulder, providing you with a more stable shooting situation.

About the VSB3
The VSB3 is designed to allow you to have your right-hand on the camera's grip where it's supposed to go, giving you access to the camera's zoom and record functions.

The VSB3 Shoulder brace has a 5.5" slot for positioning the Sony PMW-EX3 or any other video camera, for a comfortable fit.

The VSB3 video shoulder brace requires no tools to assemble and the accessory box can be removed from the shoulder mount for easy packing into a camera bag.

The VSB3 has an accessory box can be used for external batteries, mic receivers, weights, etc. The accessory box inside dimensions are:  2 3/4" x 4 3/4" x 4 3/4"

The VSB3 weights less than 30 oz. and it made from Aircraft grade Aluminum. The padded part of the shoulder brace is approx. 1/2" thick providing a very comfortable fit.
