Return
Policy
We are
happy to assist you in any way we can. Most products carry a 1 year
warranty and have a 20 day return period, although some have a shorter time
period, this is noted with the product. Items that are marked
"Manufacturer's Warranty Applies", means the warranty will be provided by the
manufacturer. However, call us first, sometimes we can take care of that
for you.
Since music, sound effects, stock footage, stock photos, software and animations can be copied to a hard
drive and still used in a production after the masters have been returned, there
are no refunds, we will do and exact exchange on any defective item,
providing it has not been altered or damaged by the customer in any way. Demos
for these products are available on line.
Since DVD's and/or videos can be copied and then returned
(which we have had some problems with people doing), there
are no refunds on DVD's and/or videos. Defective items will items will be exchanged for
the EXACT same item. There are NO exceptions to this policy.
If you have modified any item in
anyway, it is no longer returnable for refund or exchange. This includes,
but is not limited to, writing on the product or labeling the product or any
alterations to the product or labels on the product.
If you
need service on a product or to exchange a product or to return a product please
call 386-788-6075 for a return authorization (RA) prior to returning a product. When obtaining a RA#, we
need the following information: The invoice number (if possible) and your name
and telephone number along with the area code.
Please Note: Our shipping department will refuse any product returned without a
return authorization number next to the shipping label. Studio 1
Productions is not responsible for return shipping costs, lost or damage
returning packages. We are not able accept C.O.D.'s
for returned items. Please insure all returns. We suggest Fed EX, UPS, and the
post office.
Important Note:
All electronic items returned must be double boxed
or No Refunds or Exchanges or
Repairs.
If you are unsure, double box it. DO NOT
ship products in bubble or padded envelopes or shipping bags. Please use
ONLY corrugated cardboard boxes. It is best to save the shipping box
the product came in. Any package that comes back to us in a bubble or
padded envelope or in a shipping bag will be refused. Again, please only
ship in a corrugated cardboard box. As you can guess, we have had some
problems with people not properly packing products and then they get upset with
us when it arrives to us damaged.
Returns for
Credit or Exchange:
- All
returns for credit or exchange MUST be back to us within the return period
stated on your invoice, this is located towards the bottom of the invoice,
just below the line that says "Please Read". RA # numbers are only good
for 7 days from date of issue and the product . We are sorry, but we
will not allow exceptions to this due to those who try to abuse our return
policy.
- Any product
being returned for credit or exchange must be in brand new condition, just like it was when
you received it, with all parts, manuals, original boxes, etc. all in brand in
condition, otherwise we will not be able to issue a credit or exchange the item.
If you paid by a credit card, we can only credit that particular credit card back.
- Do not write, label,
mark, tape or in anyway deface the product being returned. This also
applies to the product box and/or instructions. We will NOT be able to
give you are credit or exchange if it is not in brand new condition.
- You
must include a copy of your invoice. Please make sure the address
and phones on the invoice for you are correct.
- SHIPPING
CHARGES WILL NOT BE CREDITED
or refunded.
Please allow up to 21 days for credits to be processed, this is due to ALL
products must be tested by our service techs before credit is issued. If
you are an international customer and you paid broker fees, taxes, etc.
You will need to contact the carrier in your country to see what their policy
is. We don't collect this, so we don't refund it.

Non-Studio 1 Brand products carry a 15% restocking fee. Credits or
refunds will be less the restocking fee.
- All
packages must be properly packed to prevent damage to product being returned.
Any item that is not properly packed and has sustained damaged during return
shipping will be returned to you as is. So please make sure the items
are properly packed. As you can guess, this is a major problem for us.
- All

Returns for
Repair:
- You
must include a copy of your invoice. Please make sure the address
and phones on the invoice for you are correct.
- Any item that is being
returned for repair, either in warranty or out of warranty, must include $10
for return shipping.
- Out of Warranty
Repair cost - When you call for an RA number, most of the time we can give
you an estimate, if not, we will call you once we have check out the product.
- Some
products carry a manufacturer's warranty and the item should be sent to
directly to them. When you call for an RA number, we will inform you if
you need to send the item to us or to the manufacturer.
- All
packages must be properly packed to prevent further damage to product being
returned. Any item that is not properly packed and has sustained damaged
during return shipping will be returned to you as is. So please make
sure the items are properly packed. As you can guess, this is a major
problem for us.
- All

package that is refused or undeliverable, you will be charged for the returned shipping cost along with the original shipping cost

Return shipping costs are equal to the original shipping costs. These
charges will be deducted from your refund. NO exceptions.
