The Puffin™ Microphone Windscreen
The Micover Puffin is a simple integrated cavity windshield with a permanent fur cover that slips directly on the microphone. The Puffin features a beveled center hole that stretches to easily accommodate different microphones. Great for extreme wind conditions, it’s made with high density faux fur, a open cell foam interior and strong flexible rubber. You no longer need the original black foam windscreen when using a Puffin.

The Puffin Microphone Windscreen works with shotgun microphones and on camera microphones.

Click below to download a PDF sizing chart that you printout and then follow the instruction on how to measure your microphone.  The Puffin Microphone Windscreen will universally fit any microphone that has a diameter of 19 to 26mm, which is approximately 3/4" to 1" in diameter.

After you download the sizing chart, measure you microphone as shown above.

When measuring your microphone, if it falls between the sizes we offer, simply buy the next size up.  For example.  If you mic measure out to 14cm, then buy the 18cm Puffin.  It is okay to have a little extra room at the end of the microphone.

Shotgun Mic:  Make sure when you measure you include all of the open slots on the microphone.

On Board Mic:  When you measure, make sure you measure the length of the microphone grill.
