support for video mixers. Compression Looping
This effect can be accomplished with most digital video mixers, such as the Panasonic AVE-5, AVE-7, AVE-55, MX-1, MX-20, MX-30 and MX-50. Compression Looping is an infinite picture-in-picture (PIP) effect. To achieved this effect, take one of the main video outputs (Record/Program Out) from the digital mixer and connecting it to one of the digital mixer source inputs. You can use either Y/C or composite connections. Feed your primary video source into one of your other video inputs. Then engage the mixers PIP mode (Note: with the MX-50, create a compressed box wipe). You will then see multiple PIPs going back into infinity. Move your joystick around to create moving trail. Use your T-Bar, or buss mix fader, to control the intensity of this effect. Also, adjust the selected size of the PIP to determine the depth of the effect.
